Umbreen Hafeez: Hi all, this is to anyone that may be interested in landscape/coast photography. There are 3 (me and two guys) of us heading over to Picos de Europa (Spain) in the beginning of October for around 11 to maybe 14 days and are looking for a 4th to share costs. We did this in March this year and for 10 days (food, flight, accom, car hire, petrol) it came to around 330 pounds per person. If you are interested then drop me an email and I will provide further details. Just a word of advice, it will be long days and quite a bit of walking. A typical day started at 6.00 in the morning and ended at around midnight. Sometimes we went back for an afternoon snooze and sometimes we would scout locations for the next day. Weather was anything from rain, sleet, sun, fog, hail, windy and even a snow storm. I am not a morning person at all but I loved it and am looking forward to going back. Do you want to join us? (09-08-2012)Alan Gurling: Argh! Would have wanted to join... Probably if I was ten years younger (I can't believe I'm already saying these words) but it looks exciting and I look forward to the photos! (09-08-2012)
Umbreen Hafeez: How bloody old are you? :). We had a mid 50's or maybe it was late 50's guy last time. You don't have to come every morning. Some morning he stayed in bed and we came back for him at midday. (10-08-2012)
Alan Gurling: I'm 30! But I have commitments and responsibilities, a loving wife and kid, and probably other social networks' photowalks to lead during that time! But thanks for giving an idea on where to stop by one a road trip. :) (10-08-2012)
Umbreen Hafeez: No prob, I can understand your commitments now that you have typed them out. Just thought the age excuse on it's own was a bit of a cop out and that you had one foot in the grave. Ahh, the joys of being footloose and fancy free :). (10-08-2012)
