We did a tiyul (organized by 2 amazing women). It wasn't just a tiyul bit throughout the tiyul they had stations with educational and fun activities especially geared towards the bat mitzva themes we chose. They also organized the food and transportation and all the other details. I highly recommend. You can pm me for more info. They are called בשביל החוויה. 1 (6 days ago)Eliyahu Kanush:

TIP: Be sure to have your magnet person check with the DJ or party planner before putting out the magnet display easel. Magnets can be great, but they can also be a big interruption. Some magnet people really don't have a sense of appropriate timing at all. One extreme example I saw one put out the magnet easel as the bar mitzvah boy was giving his drasha, which cause all his friends to instantly get up and walk over to the easel during the drasha. BTW, this goes for candy bars as well. Timing is very important at a great simcha.
I couldn't agree more , timing is everything , listen to a wise man Eliyahu Kanush who knows how it's done :) 1 (2 days ago)Miriam Lottner:
Better tip. Skip the easel! Have them give the magnets to kids who are hanging by themselves. Ask them to distribute them. Gives them something to do and other kids will gravitate to them as part of the process. :) 4 (2 days ago)Alissa 'Ali' Himmel Rosenthal:
Can you mention that to my guy?:-) 1 (1 day ago)
